ERNEST DEAN SMITH, SR. age 57 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away, Wednesday January 6, 2010. He was a native of Nashville, TN. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Day Smith; daughter, Dana Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; sons, Ernest Dean (Debra) Smith, Jr. of Greenbrier, TN, and Chip (Norma) Smith of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Nathan, Cody, Collin, Emily, Brody, and Connor Smith; father, Ernest Coleman Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; mother Ella Belle Hailey Smith of Nashville, TN; brothers, Randy Smith of Nashville, TN and Tim Smith of Old Hickory, TN; sisters, Bonnie Fitzgerald of Hermitage, TN and Tammy Agee of Madison, TN. Memorial services will be 4:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the visitation from 3:00PM until time of service. Pastor Tommy Ferguson will officiate.
