Ernest "Spud" Russell Glenn , age 81 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Wednesday October 11, 2017. A native of Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Ernest Glenn and the late Margaret Johnson Glenn Faulkner.

Mr. Glenn is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dot Duncan Glenn; daughter, Gina Womack and her husband Brian; grandchildren, Brandon and Cameron Womack all of Smyrna, TN; special niece and nephew, Trina Burcham of Smyrna, TN and Luie Morales of Joelton, TN.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday at Wooodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Kyle Goen officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery with a military graveside service at 3:00 PM Sunday. Pallbearers will be Brian, Brandon, and Cameron Womack, Luie Morales, Don Young and Jimmy White.

Mr. Glenn was of the Baptist faith, and a US Army veteran.
