ERNEST McCASLIN, age 84 of Murfreesboro died Monday March 16, 2009. He was a native of Cannon County and the son of the late, Vernon and Lois Jernigan McCaslin. Visitation will be 2:00PM to 6:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday with Rev. Charles Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Insell McCaslin; children, Mike (Kristine) McCaslin of Collierville, Tennessee, David McCaslin of Murfreesboro, Jeff (Tammy) McCaslin of Florida, Dianne (Mike) Jones of Florida; grandchildren, Andy (Lauren) Jacobs, Sarah Beth Jacobs, Abbe (Jeremy) Spivey, Kailee McCaslin, Kristina McCaslin, Ginny Golden; great-grandchildren, Hanna Cappezutto, Jaxson Spivey, Alikay Spivey, Maggie Jacobs, and Alexander Jacobs. Mr. McCaslin was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Bradyville and was owner and operator of Bellwood Market for 16 years and Bellwood Baseball Cards for 26 years. Pallbearers will be David McCaslin, Jeremy Spivey, Greg Walker, Andy Jacobs, Al Rogers, Bobby Insell, and David Boyce.
