ERNEST G. CORMIER, age 49, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at his home after a short battle with cancer. He was a native of Rumford, ME and the son of the late Ernest Joseph Cormier. Memorial services will be 6:00pm Tuesday at New Vision Baptist Church. Pastor Brady Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in the Stanley Cemetery, Clintwood, VA. He is survived by his wife: Karen A. Cormier, sons: Aaron Cormier of Appomattox, VA, Derek Cormier of Arlington, TX, Nathan Cole of Appomattox, VA, daughter: Holly Cormier of Murfreesboro, stepson: Chris Battaglia of Richmond, VA, stepdaughter: Julia Battaglia of Harlingen, TX, mother: Nora Herbert Cormier of St. Petersburg, FL, sisters: Ceclia Child of Derry, NH, and Theresa (Stuart) Drury of Peru, ME. Mr. Cormier was a member of New Vision Baptist Church and a Manager with National Equipment Service, Nashville, TN.
