ERIC MATTHEW STEINMETZ, age 16, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. He was a native of Columbus, OH. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Ken Reed, David Smith, and Bill Cornett will officiate. He is survived by his parents, Max and Darletta Brigner Steinmetz of Murfreesboro, aunts and uncles, Robert and Kathy Steinmetz of OH, Shelly and Bill Cornett of Knoxville, Debbie and Darryl Williams of GA, Dustee and Matt Plum of OH, grandfather, Robert Steinmetz of OH, grandmother, Darlene Brigner of OH, great uncle, Dale Friend of OH, and many loving cousins and friends. Eric was an eleventh grade student at Blackman High School and taking credit courses for Motlow Community College. Pallbearers will be Jameson Smith, Bryan Steinmetz, Jean Pierre Pabon, Chase Cromwell, Dalton Woodruff, Blake McPherson, Brandon Mutter, and Griffin McCollum.
