Mr. Eric Henderson Parks, age 52, passed away at 5:00am Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was born on January 24, 1963 in Madison, TN to Trudy Parks and the late Floyd C. Parks. Eric is survived by his mother, Trudy Parks; children, Erica, Amber, Cody, Ashley, Katie, and Holly Parks; six grandchildren, Aubree, Arianna, Brillian, Taylor, Harleigh, Kenneth; sister, Jackie Hughes; brother, Michael Parks and his wife Patricia; special friend, Kriss Stanley; former wives, Kim Zago Logan and Leslie Lasater Parks. Eric attended Madison Academy and MTSU. He was a Christian and was baptized in 1969 in the lake at Indian Creek Camp at Center Hill Lake. He was a pipe fitter, welder, and boilermaker. Eric worked on many industrial projects throughout Kansas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee. He was skilled in almost any machine and electrical needs. Eric loved the outdoors and working, riding, and caring for horses and animals. He enjoyed camping and canoeing the Tennessee rivers with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brother Ken Sharp will officiate. Burial will follow at the Parks Family Cemetery in Lascassas, TN.
