Mrs. Emily Earlene Burns Frost, age 88, of Rockvale, TN met her Heavenly Father at her home surrounded by her family Saturday, April 14, 2018 after an extended illness. She was born September 10, 1929 to the late George Washington "G.W." and Nanniel Lee Cothran Burns. Mrs. Frost was a 1948 graduate of Rockvale High School, attended Middle Tennessee College, and worked as a manager at Bell South before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was a faithful member of Patterson Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Harold Frost; daughters, Emily Diane Frost Crawford and her husband Ron of Nolensville, TN and Dawn Frost Jones and her husband Kenny of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Frost and his wife Lora, Jensi Pendergrast and her husband Chad, Jared Frost, Jessica McDaniel and her husband Tommy, Rob Williams, Victoria Williams, Daniel Jones, and Jackson Jones; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Eron Burns, and a son, Terry Lee Frost.

The family would like to thank Alive Hospice and their staff for their kind and compassionate care. They would also like to thank long time caregivers, Net Logan, Rob Williams, Deasia Carrethers, Leanne Bischoff, and Cyndee Sewell for their compassion.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Benny Martin will officiate. Burial will take place in Burns Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Jeremy Frost, Jared Frost, Rob Williams, Daniel Jones, Jackson Jones, Greg Burns , and Donnie Curlee. Honorary pall bearers will be Kenny Jones, Ron Crawford, Gipson Frost, Gary Waller, Charles Ivey Burns, Tommy McDaniel, and Chad Pendergrast.

Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or the Burns Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund in memory of Mrs. Frost.
