Elvis Essary, Jr., age 83 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Dresden, TN and the son of the late Thomas Elvis and Bobbie Lou Fitch Essary. Mr. Essary is survived by his wife Dr. Pat Essary; children Larry Essary of Union City, Carol Miller and her husband Jack of Willis, TX, Jerry Essary and his wife Nancy of Lebanon, and Leigh Williams of Murfreesboro; a sister Linda Leasure and her husband Ronnie of Newburgh, IN; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; beloved pets Grace, Molly and Sisely. Mr. Essary was a member of Life Point Church, Smyrna and retired from Stephens Aviation and Nashville Jet. The family requests memorials be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
