ELOISE GOSDIN BARGATZE age 78 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Thursday November 25, 2010. She was born in Simsboro, LA, to the late Henry and Lillie Mae Hunter Gosdin. Survived by husband, Anthony (Tony) Bargatze; sons, Frank Bargatze of Nashville, TN, Eric (Andrea) Bargatze of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter Teresa (Chuck) Pearson of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Gary (Meredith) Pearson, Jennifer (Brent) Presley, Tyler, Devin, Dalton, Dylan, and Delayna Bargatze; great-grandchild, Addison Pearson; sister, Patsy Bryant of Louisiana and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. F. Murray Mathis, and Rev. Steve Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Bargatze graduated from Northwestern State College School of Nursing in Natchitoches, LA in August 1953. She married Tony on August 1, 1954, and they moved to Murfreesboro, TN in September, 1955. Mrs. Bargatze was a member of Third Baptist Church and retired from the VA Hospital after 30 years of service as a nurse. She then worked 12 years for Hospice of Murfreesboro as a nurse and volunteer. Eloise was a loving caring person. She will be missed by her family and friends. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association in memory of Mrs. Bargatze.
