ELMER RAY BOGLE age 87 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Saturday August 7, 2010. A native of Cannon County, he was the son of the late Charlie Brown and Dovie Lee Melton Bogle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Viola Hunter Bogle who died in 2004. Mr. Bogle is survived by sons, Kenneth Bogle and his wife Tena of Joelton, TN and Charles Bogle of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Sharon Goad of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Virgil and Lloyd Bogle both of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Dorothy Green of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Steve Watts officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN. Mr. Bogle was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from Neuhoff Packing Co. after 33 years and was also retired from the State of Tennessee Highway Department.
