MRS. ELLEN TUNE COOPER, age 85, of Nashville, Tn. died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at National Health Care Center. She was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Richard Albert & Mattie Lee Mullins Tune. She is survived by her nieces, Betty (Roy) Mullins of Smyrna and Judy (Jerry) Buckley of Brentwood; Nephews, Jim (Gail) Tune, Murfreesboro, Richard (Martha) Greer Tune, Murfreesboro and Eddy (Tina) Tune, Smyrna; Nephews in law, Jeffery Hargis and Craig Hargis of Nashville. Funeral services 4 pm Friday, July 4, 2008 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro with Wayne Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family after 2 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Mrs. Cooper was married to the late C. V. Cooper who died November 12, 2003. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robin Tune, James Aubrey Tune and her sisters, Annie Tune, Rebecca Tune, Mary Della Tune and Allie B. Tune. She was a member of the Tusculum Church of Christ, a retired bookkeeper for H. G. Lipscomb. She attended Draughns Business College.
