Ledford
August 24, 1971 – October 18, 2024
Elizabeth Brett Ledford left her earthly body Friday, October 18, 2024 at the age of 53. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Street Davidson, and grandparents, Gordon & Elizabeth Street and Dr. Alton & Elizabeth Davidson.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Derrick Ledford; daughters, Kennedy, Sloan, and Alex; son, Asher; parents, Jim and Deborah Davidson; sister, Lauren Davidson, brother, Wes Davidson and his wife Meghan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless other family and friends who adored her.
For over 20 years, Elizabeth dedicated her life to helping others as a social worker and clinical counselor in Murfreesboro.
Elizabeth was born and grew up in Glen Rock, NJ and graduated from Vanderbilt University.
From a young age, she was driven by a profound desire to serve, making a difference in the lives of countless clients and students. She had a special gift for providing loving guidance to those in need, always showing compassion and understanding.
An avid reader, talented painter, and passionate tennis player, Elizabeth found great joy in her creative pursuits and loved playing tennis with friends and family.
Above all, Elizabeth was a devoted wife and an extraordinary mother. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating a home filled with love and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Elizabeth's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a charity close to Elizabeth's heart. Her spirit of giving and love for others will continue to inspire us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
