Sarah Elizabeth Leonard English, age 74 of Milton, TN, passed away Friday August 29, 2014. A native of West Helena, AR, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Virgie Icevene Pyron Leonard. She was also preceded in death by her husband David English, and by a brother, David Leonard, and sisters, Lois Virginia Dybas, and Sybil Leonard. Mrs. English is survived by her son and daughter in law, Darwin and Amanda Colston; granddaughter, Emma Colston all of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, James Samuel Leonard of Harrison, AR, and sister, Lillie Nye of Griffith, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held October 18, 2014 at Crossroads Community Church in Scherefville, Indiana. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. English was a member of the Church of God and a homemaker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. English.
