Elizabeth Tomberlain Engle, age 74 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Murfreesboro to the late Waymon and Azalea Lane Tomberlain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby "Jack" Engle, Sr. and a grandson, John Tyler Engle in 2010. Mrs. Engle is survived by her four children, Ann Cool of Murfreesboro, Jack Engle, Jr. of Hermitage, Angela Allen, and Jeff Engle both of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
