Elizabeth" Betty" Deal, age 79 of Murfreesboro died Friday February 27, 2015. She was a native of Maryland and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Hare Padgett. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tom Deal. Mrs. Deal was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and retired dispatcher with Rutherford County Sheriff Department. She is survived by her children, Kurt McMahan and wife Deanna of Christiana, David McMahan and wife Tina of Manchester, Lynn Hill and husband Steve of Murfreesboro; step son, Donald Deal and wife Sharon of Smithville; grandchildren, Ridge and Chase McMahan, Tevin and Ethan Ragan, Lauren and Emily Hill, Michael and Jacob McMahan, Tommy and Steven Deal; great-grandchildren, Alan, Abbi, Ally, Madden, Mason and Nicholas; sister, Roberta Walton and husband Sunny of Virginia. Funeral service will be 6:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Lee Douglas will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00PM until 6:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
