Elizabeth Nelle Robinson Cooper , age 92, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee entered her heavenly home on February 20, 2012. A native of the Algood community in Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late Tim Marshal Robinson and Sadie Alma Swift Robinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hershel Cooper, and grandson, Ray Emil Cooper. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Porkka, and brothers, Paul Robinson, William Robinson, John Thomas JT Robinson, Henry Hinkey Robinson, Alfred Robinson and Fred Robinson. She is survived by daughters, Shirley and husband, Dillard Parsley of Murfreesboro; Lisa and husband, Lonnie Rice of Cookeville; son, Marshal Cooper of Red Boiling Springs; seven grandchildren, Russell and wife Callen Parsley of Maryville; Robin and husband Kevin Dillard of Murfreesboro; Landon Rice and Leanne Rice, both of Cookeville, Michael Cooper of Lewisville, Texas; and Clinton Cooper and Patrick Cooper of Muskegon, Michigan; and six great-grandchildren, Sarah Parsley of Maryville; Anna Grace Dillard, Hank Dillard, Sadie Dillard and Grant Dillard, all of Murfreesboro and Layna Rice of Cookeville. She is also survived by sister, Ruth Veitenheimer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and brothers, Charles Robinson and Jack Robinson, both of Nashville along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was born October 19, 1919 and grew up in the Algood community. She graduated from Algood High School in 1941. She was a devoted military wife while her husband served in the United States Navy in Jacksonville, Florida; Honolulu, Hawaii; Brunswick, Maine and Hutchinson, Kansas, before settling in Murfreesboro. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was a member of Algood Church of Christ in Algood, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro. Visitation will also be from1:30 PM to the time of the funeral service at 2:30 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 with the Brother David Dalton officiating. Burial and graveside service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro with Russell Parsley, Landon Rice, Kevin Dillard and John McGill, Jr. serving as pallbearers.
