Elaine Carol Swann, age 52, of Smyrna, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. A native of Richmond, VA and a long-time resident of Shepherdsville, KY she was born on May 3, 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Clark and Mildred Alice Miller Swann. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother David Tiller will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Miss Elaine is survived by her three sisters, Debi Tiller and her husband David of Smyrna, Sherry Osborne and her husband Bobby of Mt. Washington, KY and Aimee Bracken and her husband Gene of Russellville, KY; along with many nieces and nephews. Miss Elaine was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and LifePoint Church. She took pleasure in working at Journeys in Community Living. She loved Christmas and Mickey Mouse. Elaine had a favorite saying, "You'll Live." She also enjoyed signing at church during musical performances. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials can be made to Journeys in Community Living at 1130 Haley Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Saturday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM before the service at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
