Edwin Herrick Griffith, age 73, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. He was the son of the late Edwin Herrick and Erna Unice Griffith. He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Wendy Watson and Tracey Griffith; grandson, Stephen Becker; and sister, Sandy Rushlau.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Griffith; sons, Jimmy Griffith and his wife Dana, Mack Griffith and his wife Sandra; sister, Dori Thielemier and her husband Tom; brother, Tom Guyer; sister in law, Judy Guyer; grandchildren, Bethany Grove, Jessica Watson and nine other grandchildren   numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Griffith served his country for many years and retired from the Air Force. After retirement he went to work for the Ford Glass Plant. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM all at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
