EDWARD H. JONES age 80 of Murfreesboro, died July 29, 2009. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Berlie H. and Mattie Miller Jones, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Lewis Jones and a brother, Ben Houston Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of the Barfield Baptist Church. He was retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard after 30 years of service and was former Co-Owner of Lewis- Jones Appliance. He attended Murfreesboro Central High School. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Ash, Rev. Jim Thompson, and Rev. Ed Lykens will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by son, Roger H. Jones of Murfreesboro, daughter, Sarah Jones-Johnson of Murfreesboro, brothers, James Howard Jones and Berlie H. Jones, Jr. both of Murfreesboro, two grandchildren, Tasha and Camden Luscinski of Murfreesboro, and three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jaxyn, and Marley. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or a charity of your choice in honor of Mr. Jones. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
