EDNA CARLENE SMARTT, age 79 of Smyrna died Friday June 19, 2009. She was a native of Grundy County and the daughter of the late, Charles and Carrie Parsons Nunley. She was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church and a devoted wife and mother. Graveside service will be 2:00PM Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gayle Watson officiating. She is survived by her husband, Elzie Lee Smartt; daughter, Linda (Bobby) Johnson of Smyrna; granddaughter, Andria Wetmore of LaVergne; great-grandchildren, Hope Lee and Eron Darnell; sisters, Mary (Thomas) Rollins of Altamont, Jewel Stewart of Coalmont, and Elise Disheroom of Georgia.
