MAXINE HANCOCK, age 82 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday November 19, 2008. She was a native of Gordonsville, TN and the daughter of the late, John Marion and Julia Ashley McDonald. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired Bookkeeper with Sears. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 7:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, William Hancock; daughters, Beth (Rick) Caffy; son, Kevin (Sandie) Hancock of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kelsey and Savannah Caffy, Erik and Julie Hancock; sister, Evelyn Kelley; brothers, Gail and Charles McDonald.
