Edith "Edie" Louise Ernst Moon was born to Gunnar and Julia Lovello Ernst on June 28, 1944 in Santa Clara, CA. She married Arell Dean Brooks in 1964, had three children Eva, Steven, Julie and moved to Spokane, WA. She later married the love of her life and soul mate, Larry Wayne Moon, on December 14, 1979. They had an additional child, Waylon. The family eventually relocated to Trenton, TN, where they resided the remainder of their years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edith was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Wayne Moon; and brother, Eric Ernst. She is survived by her children, Eva Marie Boston of Murfreesboro, Steven Michael Brooks of Trenton, TN, Julie Michelle Carter and her husband Marshall of Milan, TN, and Waylon Harrison Moon of Oregon; brother, Paul Ernst and his wife Judy of Rolling Hills Estates, CA; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edith was a God fearing woman of faith whose first love was her family and creating a beautiful home environment. She  was creative and artistic and enjoyed decorating, cooking, gardening, and making every family holiday special. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Milan, TN, and often volunteered to help with the elderly. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
