Edith Ann Curtis, age 73 of Smyrna, TN passed away on July 21, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Era Ford Reed. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers James, Freeman and Frank Reed. She is survived by her husband Larry Curtis; son Ricky D. Pitts (Donna L.); daughter Janie Rita Nelson; granddaughter Brittany Nelson; grandsons Justin and Michael Pitts; great-granddaughter Avery Humphrey; and sister Geraldine Young. Edith retired from the State of Tennessee with 30 years of service. Visitation will be Friday 5:00 " 8:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
