Edith Lorene Cornelison, age 74 of Madisonville, KY died Saturday February 20, 2016. She was a native of Rutherford Co and was the daughter of the late, Ernest Holmes and Lillie Mai Bogle Pittard. Mrs. Cornelison is also preceded in death by sisters, Nellie Pitts, Evelyn Gipson, Mary Elizabeth Benson, one brother Cecil Pittard; and granddaughter, McKenzie Evans. She was a retired secretary with Terminix in Madisonville.

Mrs. Cornelison is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clark J. Cornelison of Madisonville; daughters, Faith Amos and husband Bill of Madisonville, Teresa Pearce and husband Joel of Christiana, TN.; son, Charles Cornelison and wife Julie of North Carolina; brothers, Robert Pittard and wife Diane of Florida, and Ronnie Pittard and wife JoAnn of Lascassas; grandchildren, Lorraine McGar and husband David, Kathleen Goodman, Daniella Allen, Christine Cornelison, Kaitlyn Cornelison, Ashley Cornelison, Justin Cornelison, Patrick Cornelison, Rick Henley and Tyler Henley; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11AM until 1:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
