Edgar Roland "Ed" Ray, 60, died Friday Nov, 6th 2009 at his home. Edgar was born in Tacoma WA on 10/01/1949. He was raised in Oregon and graduated from Creswell High School where he was a star wrestler. He continued his education at multiple colleges in Oregon and Kansas City Missouri. He was a verteran of the US Navy were he served as an aviation electrican and also worked on the Alaskan Pipeline. His work took him all over the country and his last employment was as a Construction Superintendent. He retired in Tennesse where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock collecting. He was preceeded in death by his father Emmitt and sister Teresa Jarvis. He is survived by his mother, Afton Ray, sister Linda Evans and brother Randall. Also survived by his 5 children James Ray, Gwynevier, Alisa, Rachael Ray and Meagan Ramos. He had 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 1 great grand child. Services to be held on Friday Nov. 13th at 4pm at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna TN, 615-459-3254.
