Mr. Charles Edmon "Ed" Sweet, Jr., age 71, of Gallatin, TN passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born in Mattoon, IL to Charles Edmon, Sr. and Eulalia Sweet. Mr. Sweet proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was of the Christian faith and was a truck driver. Mr. Sweet enjoyed deer hunting and smoking his pipe.

Mr. Sweet is survived by his son, Kelly Sweet and his wife Candice of Rockvale, TN; mother, Eulalia Sweet of Mattoon; Marcia Baker of Mattoon; nephew, Mitchell Morrison; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edmon Sweet, Sr.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 9:00am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
