Earlene McDaniel McPherson, age 85 of Rockvale passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was a native of Rockvale and the daughter of the late Keathley and Katherine Baskin Alcorn. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Albert H. McDaniel who died in 1992 and Colin McPherson who died in 2010, and brothers, Thomas and Ernest Alcorn. Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. Norman Patton and Rev. Bob O'Dell will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Gary McDaniel and his wife Evelyn of Brentwood, daughter, Mildred Farris and her husband Raymond of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Mark McDaniel, Gary McDaniel, Jr., and his wife Debra, Christi Farris, Lisa Knight Yazijan and her husband Ed, great grandchild, Stefan Yazijan. Mrs. McPherson was a member of Rockvale Church of God and a 1947 graduate of Rockvale High School. She retired from Rutherford Hospital. Active pallbearers are Mark McDaniel, Gary McDaniel, Jr., Kevin Williams, Carl Hollis, Steven Williams, Mark Cleghorn, Stephen Burns and Chris Burns. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Patterson, C.W.
