Earlene Pate Floyd, age 82, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 06, 2016. A native of Eagleville, TN she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Blanche Patterson Pate; husband, Robert "Tommy" Jones Floyd; and four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Church. Rev. Marshall Gupton will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by her daughters, Paula Guinn and her husband Russell of Chattanooga, TN and Patty Short and her husband Gerry of Smyrna; grandchildren, Robby Floyd and his wife Katrina of Chattanooga, Trenton Short of Smyrna, and Tyler Short and his wife Shelby of Smyrna, and Josh Short and his wife Jamie of LaVergne, TN; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Floyd was a member of Trinity Christian Church. She was the former Co-Owner of the P & B Market with her husband, in Smyrna for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Floyd can be made to the Trinity Christian Church in Smyrna.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna and Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Church.
