Earl H. Hurst, age 89, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born June 22, 1932 in Rockcastle County, KY to John and Pearlie Mae Pittman Hurst.

He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Scott; son, James D. Hurst and his wife Peggy; daughter, Glenda Dowden; grandchildren, Jimmy, Lisa, Robbie, Sean, Amber; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Noble Hurst; son, Charles Michael Hurst; grandchildren, Rickey Scott Jr and Tammy Hurst; eight brothers; and six sisters.

Mr. Hurst was a retired heavy equipment operator in construction for many years.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
