Eara Morgan, age 74 of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN and a daughter of Robert Cleveland Thomason, Sr. and the late Ida Irene Warrick. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter Regina Ann Dunaway, a granddaughter Tracey Armstrong and two brothers Paul Thomason and Jimmy Duke. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband of 36 years, Alvin Ray Morgan, Sr.; children Cindy Raye Brown, Tina Marie Mullins and Donna Pauline Armstrong all of Murfreesboro and Alvin Ray Morgan, Jr. of Texas; her father Robert Thomason, Sr; brothers and sisters Dale Duke, Ray Thomason, R.C. Thomason, Robbie Jean Wall and Estelle Lewis; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Morgan attended Liberty in Christ Church. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Dwight Smitty officiating.
