Mr. D.R. Webb, age 79, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. He was born in Fulton, MS to the late Elbie Stone and Marie Hughes Webb. Mr. Webb was the district manager for Life of George and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife of 59 years, Geraldine Webb; daughter, Rita Webb and her companion Mike Abernathy of Murfreesboro; son, Mike Webb and his wife Lisa of College Grove, TN; six grandchildren, Eric Toombs and his wife Carrie of Murfreesboro, Bradley Benefield of Murfreesboro, Ryan Benefield and his wife Kathryn of Smyrna, and Tyler, Parker, and Max Webb all of College Grove, TN; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel Toombs of Murfreesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Benefield, and sister, Waucayne Hardin.

To all who knew him, D.R. Webb leaves cherished memories as a kind, generous, and loving soul who was always able to laugh and enjoy life. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. As we lay him to rest on this Good Friday, we ask that each of you remember this as a day that shows us that even through our most difficult times, God brings us hope of brighter things to come.  The family rests in the hope of reuniting in God's kingdom, and the peace that D.R. is resting in the arms of his Savior and no longer in pain.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday, March 25, 2016 10:00am until 11:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Chuck Herring will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
