Dovie May Warrick Maynard, age 81 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday at her home. She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Charles and Effie Brewer Warrick. She was also preceded by her husband of 60 years, R.L. Maynard who died in 2016, a daughter, Jennifer Louise Maynard, a grandson, Robert "Rob" Anthony Sullivan; sisters, Ella Raney, and Betty Busey; brothers, Sheila, Hoyte, J.C., Shorty, Clarence, and Lester Warrick.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Smith, Peggy Gammon-Nelson, Bobby Maynard and wife Tina, and Penny Sullivan, all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Andy, Stephanie, Ariel, J.R., B.J., Lee, and Chasity; great grandchildren, Tristan, Hayden, Nadia, Issic, Kelsie, Peyton, Aiden, Riley, Mason, Sophie, Addison, Jaxon, and Kylee; sisters, Sadie Wade and Ruby Nelson; brothers, Paul, Frank, and Will Warrick; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday night from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mark Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
