Douglas Allen Turner, age 65 of Smyrna died Friday. He was a native of Hueytown Alabama, and was the son of the late, Vernon W. Turner. Mr. Turner worked for Liberty National Life Insurance Company for over 30 years. He was a veteran of United States Coast Guard, and an avid outdoorsman. He had attended the University of Alabama.
