Douglas Cecil Thomas age 69 of Murfreesboro died Sunday September 28, 2025. He was a native of Warren County and was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Josphine Thomas; children, Cindy Hensley , and Danny Tinsley Thomas; sister Carol Canter.

Mr. Thomas was a Christian and was a retired Machinist working for O-Flex Tool and Die. He was an avid outdoorsman and was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah Thomas; children, Chris Thomas and wife Sharon, Amy Henshaw and husband Gary, Amanda Farley and husband Tristen; Grandchildren; Ashley , Austin, Aubery, Alexis, Christopher, Jessica, Candace, Jasmine, Lily; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Colton, Presley, Ashton, Alexandria, Ashland, Riley, Amelia, and Jackson; sister, Vickie Sloan.

Visitation will be Thursday October 2nd 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday October 3rd 3:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Chuck Harrell will officiate.   Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens www.woodfinchapel.com
