Douglas Wayne Nicholson, age 75, of Bradyville passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was a native of Greenville, SC and the son of the late Riley B. and Willie Mae Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Nicholson and sister, Judy Roberson.

Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Swaney, sons, Dale Nicholson of Readyville, William Nicholson of Bell Buckle, sisters, Sharon Smith and Janice Durham, both of South Carolina, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Mr. Nicholson was a US Army veteran and served as Fire Chief at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center before retirement.
