Ruth "Dot" Scott Tucker, age 98, of Rockvale, Tennessee and Auburn, Alabama died February 17, 2016 at Lafayette Nursing Home from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.

Mrs. Tucker was a native of Rockvale, Tennessee and was born April 1, 1917.

She was the daughter of the late Horace and Allie Mai Scott, and was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Tucker and two sisters, Margaret Scott and Lucille Scott.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by two daughters, Pat (Charlie) Reeder, of Auburn, Alabama and Linda Tucker, of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; grandchildren, Jan (Kirk) Divelbiss, of Marietta, Georgia, Miki (Matt) Keith, of Mobile, Alabama, Kim Reeder, of Auburn, Alabama, and Kris (Edouard) Fenouil, of Kennesaw, Georgia; two great grandsons, Christian Divelbiss and Reeder Keith, and family friends, Laura Callaway, and Libbie Tedford.

Mrs. Tucker was a notable educator, having served in that profession as a librarian, teacher and coach. Her love of sports and books were noted as she worked in the educational field. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Middle Tennessee State University.

The family will receive friends and family Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Graveside Service for Mrs. Tucker will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
