DORRIS HILL, age 95 of Woodbury and formerly of Memphis died April 6, 2009. The smile that touched so many lives radiates in the heavens. A native of Brinkley, Arkansas, Dorris moved to Memphis in 1933 and lived there until 2002 then moved to Murfreesboro and onto Woodbury in 2005. Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the late William Dorsey and Julia Newsome Sudduth. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Sudduth and Julia Alcock and husband of 66 years, James W. Hill, Jr. Mrs. Hill is survived by a son, James W. Hill III and his wife Sandra Hill of Woodbury, granddaughter, Ginger Helton of Knoxville and great-granddaughters, Sydney and Katey Helton of Knoxville. Mrs. Hill was a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Memphis. Services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev.
