DOROTHY W. VAUGHN, age 83 of Murfreesboro died Sunday December 14, 2008. She was a native of Cannon County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doran and Ella Jernigan Williams, and a brother, H.O. Williams Visitation will be after 12 Noon on Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jim Vaughn; son, Jimmy (Linda) Vaughn of Murfreesboro; grandson, Brian ( Stacy) Vaughn of Jackson Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Vaughn, and Mason Hays Vaughn; sister, Juanita Goodman of Virginia. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Central Christian Church and a retired Bookkeeper. Pallbearers will be David Williams, Hayworth Parks, Russell Wingo, Randy Pitts, R. T. Wingo and David Wingo.
