Dorothy Ann Brewer Thompson, age 73 of Smyrna, TN, died Thursday October 11, 2012 at Generations Center of Spencer in Spencer, TN. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Edna Bell Warrick Brewer of Smyrna, TN and the late Joseph Onzie Brewer. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Randall and Charles Brewer and by a sister, Betty Jacobs. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her mother, Edna Bell Warrick Brewer of Smyrna, TN , daughter, Billie Ann Thompson Laurin of Ocala, FL; brothers, Henry Brewer of Murfreesboro, TN, Curtis Brewer and his wife Alma of Milton, TN, James Brewer and his wife Debbie of Rockvale, TN; sister, Darlene McCrary of Smyrna, TN; grandsons, Steve and Jesse Laurin. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Wilson Line Baptist Church and a homemaker.
