DOROTHY JEAN SINGLETON STEVENS age 74 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday July 15, 2008. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Ida Heath Singleton. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Scarlett officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband, Bobby Edward Stevens, son and daughter in law, Doug and Dawn Stevens, a granddaughter Eilis Stevens all of Murfreesboro and a sister Margaret Hudson of the Blackman community. Mrs. Stevens was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and a retired bookkeeper from First Tennessee Bank. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
