Obituary

Dorothy Kelly Pullias, age 83, of Murfreesboro, died July 3, 2012 at MTMC. Mrs. Pullias was a native of Scottsboro, AL and the daughter of the late Evans A. and Mabel Davis Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her husband Campbell Pullias in 1995, one sister, Barbara Alley, one brother, Evans Kelly. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Pullias is survived by two sons, Kim Pullias and his wife Amanda, David Pullias and his wife Christy, two daughters, Beth Edwards and her husband Barry, Laura Messick and her husband Trent all of Murfreesboro, two sisters, Betty Jo Williamson of Scottsboro, AL, Nancy Silingo of Phoenix, AZ, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Our mother lived to serve and to bring joy to everyone she met. Her true passion was Jesus Christ and the light that exuded from her was contagious. She gathered friends like flowers, loved every creature God made, never met a stranger, and basked in the love of her 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She leaves a living legacy who are a testimony of Gods faithfulness. Mrs. Pullias was a member of World Outreach Church, attended Lipscomb University, and was a retired Nurse. Memorials may be made to the Pregnancy Support Center, 745 South Church Street, Suite 801, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 or Greenhouse Ministries, 309 South Spring Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130.
