DOROTHY DALE PHILLIPS, age 74, of Smyrna died Thursday, November 11, 2010. She was a native of Pontiac, MI and the daughter of the late Oliver and Dorothy Lighthall Cook. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Wilson, brother, Charles Cook, and sister, Ina Marcella. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Pastor Gary Dyer will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wallace Burt Phillips, sons, Wallace B. Phillips, Jr. and Ricky Phillips, both of Smyrna, daughter, Constance Cook of Murfreesboro, brothers, Billy, Roy, and David Cook, sisters, Marlene Cook, Ruth Ann Sylvester, all of MI, and Katherine Sylvester of FL, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
