DOROTHY L. McCORMICK GILLILAND, age 76 of Murfreesboro died Monday, March 7, 2011. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Frank V. and Mora Sanford Edmonds. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Louie Bert Gilliland and Charles (Joe) McCormick. Graveside service 11:00am Friday at Coleman Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Howard will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by her daughters, Becky (Michael) Jones of Readyville, Teresa (Tony) Patterson of Murfreesboro, Judy (Dennis) Baines of Murfreesboro, brother, Vernon (Cheryl) Edmonds of Murfreesboro, sister, Peggy Whitworth of Murfreesboro, granddaughters, Amy and Emily Jones, Amber (Erik) Alexander, Katy Patterson, great grandchildren, Julee and LeeAnne Alexander.
