Dorothy Elaine Hockett, age 81 of Christiana died Friday January 20, 2017. She was a native of Rutherford County, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lindell Hockett; parents, Robert Ray and Lytie Modene Arnold Fox. Mrs. Hockett was a member of Millersburg Baptist Church and was a retired Nurse.

She is survived by her children; Bobby Hockett and wife Kathy of Christiana, Laketa Powers of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Twana Hockett, B.J. Hockett and wife Kayla, Trice Powers and wife Erin, Lindsey Powers all of Christiana; great-grandchildren, Karlie Powers, Parker and Kindell Hockett; sister, Sandra Porter and husband Lonnie of Christiana.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Shelton Cemetery.
