Dorothy Virginia Haynes, age 75 of Smithville, TN passed away on October 21, 2021. She was born in Rutherford County to the late Thomas Cecil Dabbs and Maudine Johnson Dabbs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Hood.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Haynes; grandchildren, Cesalee Hood and Ciara Hood; great-grandchildren, Dradyn, Diamond, Onyx, Isa Marie, Ivy Grace, and Iris Aurora; and sisters, Lola Richardson, Maudene Neal, Linda (Marshall) Carter, and Judy (Richard) McKinney.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro with Bro. Chad Ramsay officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
