Dorothy Jeanne Brock, age 93 of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday September 2, 2025. She was born on January 10. 1932 in Independence Kansas to the late Howard Van Dresser and Edith Lawing Van Dresser. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tommy Ray Brock, Sr.; son, Barry Brock, and brother, Richard Van Dresser; a sister, Kay Fulghum.

Mrs. Brock was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Murfreesboro and retired from South Central Bell after working 22 years. She loved her family, flowers, collecting rabbits items, traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with friends.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her sons, Tommy Brock and wife Etta, Tim Brock and wife Margaret, Gary Brock and wife Karen, David Brock and wife Susan; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Harold Fulghum; niece Kim Mainland and husband Ralph; nephew, Michael Fulghum and wife Sheri; very dear friend, Jeanette Hall and church family and many other dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or NAMI of Rutherford County. TN.

Visitation will be Saturday September 20th 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be Saturday September 20th 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of cremation arrangements. www.woodfinchapel.com
