Mrs. Dorothy Jean Stevens Bower, age 91, formerly of Davidson County, TN passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born in Davidson County to the late James Boss, Sr. and Lula Jane Brooks Stephens. Mrs. Bower grew up out in the country creating her love for working outside and gardening.

Mrs. Bower is survived by her children, Joyce Cendroski of Murfreesboro, TN, Harold Bower of Manchester, TN, Cheryl Carney and her husband Harry of Greenbrier, TN, and David Bower and his wife Kay of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Chris, Heidi, Brian, Josh, and Jacob; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Bower, Jr.; granddaughter, Lisa; and great-granddaughter, Kelsee.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 26, 2022 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
