DOROTHY JUANITA ADAMS age 78 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday February 28, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Alta George Bowen. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters Brenda (Wilson) White of Nashville, Connie (Phil) Archer, Linda (Randy) Nippe both of In., Sons Darrell (Tina) Adams, Dayton Adams both of Smyrna, sisters Cassie Rose, Peggy Ann Davenport, Brothers Richard Bowen, Paul (Gisela) Bowen all of Murfreesboro, 9 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Adams. Mrs. Adams was of the Baptist faith and retired cook.
