DORIS ELIZABETH LUTHER, age 82, of Smyrna, died October 31, 2012. She was a native of Piedmont, AL, and the daughter of the late Robert and Maude Moon White. Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Dr. Michael Todd Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Luther is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Lancaster, William Andrews, and Harold Luther, two bothers and two sisters. Mrs. Luther was a member of Mircle Baptist Church and was a retired teacher having taught in Smyrna and LaVergne for many years. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
