DONNA CLANTON SPENCE age 67 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2009. A native of Shelbyville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Thomas George and Irene Lokey Clanton. Donna is survived by her husband, Jimmy H. Spence; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Sharon Spence of Lebanon, TN; daughters and son- in law, Valarie Spence of Smyrna, TN and Angela Spence Schmidt and Jimmy of Smyrna, TN; brother Tom Clanton Brentwood, TN; sister, Connie Clanton Curry of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Alex Keith, Abby Schmidt, Natalie Caravello, Kylee DeWald, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by brothers: Albert Ray Clanton and Robert Bob Edward Clanton, three sisters, Sara Elizabeth Clanton Ferrell, Jo Ann Clanton Wilkes, and Dorothy Dot Clanton Molder, half-brothers: Otis Clanton, Lewis Clanton, and Finis Clanton, and half sister, Alma Lady Clanton Ervin. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, with Bro. Darryl Lewis and Bro. Greg Vick officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Donna was a member of Stewart Creek Church of Christ and was retired Office Manager and President of Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearer.
